(1) After installation, rotate the coupling by hand to check whether there is any collision.
(2) In order to prevent sundries from entering the pump, a filter is set at the inlet of the pump, and the filter area is 3-4 times larger than the cross-sectional area of the pipeline.
(3) No idling is allowed.
(4) A check valve shall be installed on the outlet pipeline of the pump with high lift to prevent damage by water hammer caused by sudden shutdown.
(5) Start up procedure: open the inlet valve before start-up and fill the pump with the liquid to be delivered; Close the outlet valve; Jog the electric hoist to check whether the pump is turning correctly; After the pump is started, the outlet valve shall be opened slowly. After the pump reaches the normal operation state, the outlet valve shall be adjusted to the required opening. Test run for 5-10min. If there is no abnormality, it can be put into operation.
